Pursue Your Purpose As If Your Life Depended On It!

Have you ever had a song move you to tears…how about a movie, painting, or book? Has anyone ever said something to you that completely changed your perspective on a certain topic or enhanced your viewpoint? If you have ever experienced these types of life-changing moments, chances are you were in the midst of someone who was living in their purpose. Or for a brief moment in time, they tapped into something that used a gifting they were purposed to use.Each of us have certain talents, gifts and treasures that were meant to propel us toward our purpose in life. The question is are we using them on a daily basis? If not, what are you doing to discover your purpose and challenge yourself to life it out every single day?

I’ve been watching the Discovery channel series called Life. It’s so amazing to see all of God’s creatures from the tiniest insects to the largest creatures on the planet do the things they were created to do each and every day. And even those animals we would consider defenseless, useless, or senseless have discovered unique ways to both survive and thrive.

We can do the same! What are the things that drive you to be better? What activities truly get your heart pumping and your creative juices flowing? Those are the things you need to be doing more of. Make time in your daily routine to schedule these activities in and use them to move you closer and closer toward your purpose in life.

When you create ways to do the things most important to you, you will inevitably find more fulfillment and joy in life. But all these things must be done on purpose. You have got to be intentional about discovering then doing, finding and fulfilling, locating and creating the life you were meant to live.

What’s holding you back? It’s time to let go of all the excuses and begin to find the solutions because your life and purpose depends on it.

26 August 2008, I went to the emergency room after falling in my home and not being able to get up for 2 1/2 hours. 3 October 2008, I walked our of the hospital, I had lost 20% of my body mass and have skin grafts and scars over 20% of my body. I was attacked by the skin-eating disease.
For some people, this would not be as a life-changing event as it was for me. I know that it was a rebirth time for me. I am told that less than 1% of people my age and as sick as I was even survive. I walked out of the hospital. True, now 2 years later, I am still healing and probably never will be as I was.
I am embracing life as My Lord gives it to me. I am passionate that He left me here to tell my story – to anyone who will listen. When someone tells me they are having a bad day, all I have to do is lift my left arm and show them the scar and tell them the story. I look forward to each day.
My bride and I are busy sharing our hearts with others through our business. We have a passion to tell other that you don’t have to accept your current situation because there is a better way.
